Topic: Pulse modulated clocks for sale anywhere?
I am flabbergasted and disgusted that I have not been able to find ANYBODY selling "atomic clocks" (radio controlled clocks) who knows what kind of signal it receives (Amplitude Modulated or the newer Pulse Modulated). I have even contacted the companies themselves: Howard Miller, LaCrosse, Seiko, etc. and the "Tech Support" people tell me they don't know what kind of receiving chip is contained in any of their radio controlled clocks!
I know that LaCrosse was producing an old style round analog clock called "ultra atomic" that receives the pulse code signal, but that's about it. AM radio controlled clocks simply do not work in South Florida or the upper Northeast states, even with the upgraded 70kw signal. Can anybody give me the company name and model number of clocks that receive the pulse modulated signal? Thanks!
